SHINE BUILDING is located in Tehran, Iran. The site was originally occupied by a factory and is strategically positioned near major streets, cultural landmarks, and public transport nodes, ensuring high accessibility for both residents and visitors.

The demographic profile of the surrounding area reflects a diverse user base — 50% residents, 30% tourists, 20% professionals, and 10% students — while its proximity to museums, design firms, and cultural institutions reinforces the district’s role as a vibrant cultural hub.

Guided by these contextual factors, the design vision aimed to transform the site into a multi-functional cultural and creative center, integrating public spaces to foster social interaction and cultural exchange. The project also emphasized sustainability, with strategies focused on reducing embodied carbon through careful material selection, adopting innovative energy-efficient technologies, and incorporating circular economy principles into the construction process.
